Vyatskoye begins cooperation with the Soyuzmultfilm movie studio

On February 27, at 17:00, in the building of the Soyuzmultfilm movie studio (21, Academician Korolev St., bldg. 1, Moscow), the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Vyatskoye Historical and Cultural Complex and the Soyuzmultfilm movie studio will be solemnly signed.

The document will be signed by Boris Mashkovtsev, Director of FSUE Soyuzmultfilm Cinema Studio, and Elena Shakhova,  the Director General of the HCC “Vyatskoye” named after  E.A. Ankudinova.

According to the Memorandum, in the spring of 2020 the  exhibition “Hofmaniada” will open in Vyatskoye. Visitors will be able to get acquainted with dolls, decorations, sketches, as well as the story of the creation of the full-length animated film ” Hofmaniada “, filmed by director Stanislav Sokolov in an unusual genre of romantic fantasy based on the biography and works of German writer Ernst Theodor Hoffmann. Filming lasted more than 15 years, using 150 dolls in them. All these characters, as well as part of the scenery, were created according to the sketches of the famous artist Mikhail Shemyakin. The cartoon was praised by the critics. Experts of the Golden Eagle film academy recognized him as the best animated film of 2018.

Another large joint project of the Vyatskoye Historical and Cultural Complex and the Soyuzmultfilm film studio will be the creation of a Children’s Cultural, Educational and Leisure Park in Yaroslavl under the auspices of the Soyuzmultfilm. It is planned that several development and entertainment zones will work in the park: the Museum of the History of Animation with a collection of exhibits from the Soyuzmultfilm movie studio; Soyuzmultclub children’s center with the opportunity to learn the basics of animation and the production of their own cartoons, movie theaters and a children’s amusement park with street attractions. The place for the site where the project will be implemented is still being determined. However, today it is safe to say that a new attraction will appear on the tourist map of Yaroslavl – an amusement park with the characters of your favorite cartoons.
