About the conference

A private museum today is a public place with a rich social and cultural life. It is a unique cultural center that reflects the contribution of its creator to the treasury of Russian history and culture. Thanks to patronage and private contributions to the museum business, Russia has historically unique and priceless cultural values. Talents of Russia preserve the core culture and our genetic cultural code.

What are the challenges the private museum community is facing in the 21st century? What place do private museums occupy in modern Russia? How is cooperation between private museums and the state formed? These questions are posed by the organizers of the conference.

The conference is attended by: Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation A.Yu.
