The Sea of Tea Museum took part in three interesting events in September

From 4 to 6 September, the museum took part in the XII International Tea and Coffee Festival. The festival took place on Moscow Square in St. Petersburg and attracted more than 10,000 people, who also approached the tent of the International Center and the Tea Museum. Museum staff treated visitors to tea and talked about activities and excursions at the Tea Museum. One of the goals of the museum is to acquaint people with the tea culture of different countries. Therefore, at the festival, employees held three quizzes among the participants on the history of tea, showed how to brew tea correctly and how to conduct tea ceremonies.

From the 12th to 13th September, the Unusual Tea Garden festival was held at the St. Petersburg Botanical Garden. The festival was dedicated to tea plants and tea traditions of the world. Within the framework of the festival, the Tea Museum placed its exposition on an area of more than 60 sq. m. During the two days of the festival, employees continuously conducted exciting excursions with tea drinking, each of which was attended by about 15 people.

The final event, in which the Tea Museum took part, was the Ceylon Tea Festival held with the participation of the St. Petersburg Society for Friendship with Sri Lanka. The guests enjoyed the Ceylon teas of Quality and Mabrok, took part in a quiz, admired the show on brewing tea in a siphon and got acquainted with the history of Ceylon tea and the current situation in this area in the museum.
