The Collectible Dolls Museum was opened in 2016. During this time, the museum was visited by residents from all over Russia from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad. Guests from Vilnius, Kiev, Grenoble, Paris, Crimea, China, and Norway were very pleased with their visit. Feedback from visitors helped it earn a certificate of excellence from renowned travel site Tripadvisor, and Yandex said the museum was selected as a “good location.”
The long-term quarantine did not unsettle the museum staff. All this time they did not stop working on the new exposition. Dolls come to life in every little diorama. At the exhibition you can see a photo studio, a beach, a bookstore, a fashion catwalk, a basketball court, a supermarket, an Art Museum, a city street. That is why the exhibition was named “Dolls as People”.
