The Association of Private Museums of Russia congratulates the artist and director of animated films Leonid Shvartsman on his 100th birthday

The author of artistic images of the crocodile Gena and Cheburashka, the Snow Queen, the Golden Antelope, a kitten named Woof and many other heroes of everyone’s favorite cartoons, Leonid Aronovich Shvartsman, is 100 years old.

The staff of the Association of Private Museums headed by Alexey Shaburov congratulates the outstanding master on his anniversary. The characters that came out from under his pencil taught us kindness, friendship and empathy. They have entered our hearts forever. We wish Leonid Aronovich good health, cheerful mood and many, many more years of life.

And let the festival held by the Moscow Museum of Animation in his honor bring a lot of joy to both adults and children – those who grew up watching his cartoons, and those who, due to their age, are just beginning to love this amazing world called Lelaland.
