The Association of Private and People’s Museums of Russia is preparing an updated 4th edition catalogue for all private museums in Russia. The catalogue counts about 700 museums, and is enriched by such museums as: Ethnomuseum – Studio “Keepers of Traditions”, Historical Park “Belgorod Defense Line”, Ethnic Park-Museum of Russian Tale named after A.S. Pushkin, Museum of barrel and cooperage, Retro Cars Museum, Exhibition Complex and Museum “Dairy Banks”, Toy Museum “Helen and Teddy”, House of YAK-40 aircraft, Museum of Vodsk pagina, Exhibition “Japan. Dolls, Tales and Legends”, Pedal Car Museum and others.
Publication of the online catalogue is scheduled for the end of 2022. The 4th edition of the printed catalogue of the Association of Private and Folk Museums is limited in print and a request must be sent to revenko@privatemuseums.ru to purchase.
Information is now being collected on new museums and changes are being made to existing museums. All members of the Association who have changed their name, contact details, address or if a museum is being liquidated or preserved, please notify us at revenko@privatemuseums.ru.
