The Zamytskiye Lavki Trade Museum 12+

We are pleased to welcome a new member of the Association of Private and People’s Museums of Russia – the Zamytskiye Lavki Trade Museum. The founder of the museum is Spazhev Gennady Vyacheslavovich.

The idea of the museum belongs to its founder, who collected a large number of exhibits to most realistically convey the interiors and atmosphere of the village shops (“lavki”) of the late 19th and early 20th centuries that existed in this village in the same building at that time.

The museum provides tours, including theatrical ones, trying to immerse people in the atmosphere of that time and reveal the secrets of successful trading.

The collection of exhibits numbers about 1,000 items of various goods from the Nicholas era, divided into three sections: a food shop, a trifle shop and a drugstore.

Address of the museum: 171417, Tver region, Rameshkovsky MO, Zamytye village, 12, Tsentralnaya str.
