On August 1, 2020, the Moscow Cat Museum will open its doors. The collection of the museum presents everything related to cats and their role in human life on planet Earth. The basis of the collection is artistic: painting, graphics, sculpture, ceramics, batik, tapestry, costumes, dolls, installations, art objects, collages, showing a cat through the eyes of artists and creative people, as well as books, photographs, postcards, films, cartoons, toys, other things and objects, one way or another related to cats.
Until the end of the year, the Moscow Cat Museum will operate in the HOME GALLERY format, which provides only an individual visit (one to three people at a time), observing social distance and using personal protective equipment.
