On September 9, 2020, as part of a business trip to St. Petersburg, the Head of the Association of Private Museums of Russia met with the Head of the Committee for Culture of St. Petersburg Konstantin Eduardovich Sukhenko. During the meeting, Alexey Shaburov spoke in detail about the activities of the Association, and about the unique exhibition “Private museums of Russia. Talents of Russia”, which took place in 2019. Alexey Shaburov and Konstantin Sukhenko noted the important role of private museums in preserving and enhancing the cultural and historical values of our country and agreed that interaction between the Association and the government of St. Petersburg is of great importance for the entire museum community.
