On February 20, Nizhny Tagil hosted another meeting of the archivists of the Middle Urals with the diplomatic missions employees of foreign states in the city of Yekaterinburg.
The meeting participants summed up the results of joint work on international cooperation in the field of archiving in 2019 and planned the continuation of this work this year.
The event was attended by diplomats from France, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Belarus, and other countries.
All of them supported the idea of the Irbit Museum of Folk Life founder Mikhail Smerdov (IMFL) to create a Center for National Cultures on the basis of this museum, promising all possible assistance in its formation.
The meeting participants also approved the project “Merchant Roads of Russia” proposed by the founder of the Private Institution of Culture and Tourism IMFL.
