The Association of Private Museums of the Perm Krai will host a delegation of the Association of Private Museums of Russia in Perm on June 28-30.
The delegation headed by the President of the Association Alexey Shaburov will arrive in the Perm Region to shoot a film about the private museums of Perm and the Perm Region. The program of the visit includes the “Teddy Bear Room” Museum, the Perm Museum of Dolls, the Museum of Transformer Robots, the Museum of the History of Perm Postcards, the Unicum Private Gallery. In Dobryanka, the delegation will be hosted by the People’s Museum of Kindness, in Solikamsk by the Memorial House of the artist M. M. Potapov, in Nytva by the private Museum of Soviet toys.
The film is expected to attract more visitors to private museums, as well as draw the attention of the authorities to the need to develop private museums. In addition, it is expected that during the visit to Perm, an agreement will be signed on the admission of the Association of Private Museums of the Perm Krai as a collective member to the Association of Private Museums of Russia.
The Association of Private Museums of the Perm Krai is currently compiling a list of private museums and collectors of Perm Krai who wish to participate in the work of the Association.
