The idea to create the museum belongs to its founder: Kuznetsov Sergey Vasilyevich and Skvortsova Olga Aleksandrovna.
The aim of the museum is to introduce visitors to the history of lace and the development of the craft in Odoev, Tula region.
The museum’s exposition includes over 200 lace items made in the style of Odoev and Belev lace, as well as many related objects. The core of the museum’s collection consists of works by Olga Aleksandrovna Skvortsova, a People’s Master of Russia.
